Trump and the Insurrection Act

I have every reason to believe that many people are not prepared mentally or spiritually for what is likely to happen in the near future in our country. No, this isn’t another end-of-the-world prediction, but to some it might feel like it. We all live our lives as we see best, we think our ideas are right, and other ideas are wrong. We vote for politicians for one reason or another, get angry at other politicians, and want to see the country go in the direction we think best. But what is the best direction for our country?

Our founding fathers created the most magnificent political constitution in human history and understood that the greatest nation in the world would have at its base trust in God and the path he lays out. Unfortunately, many politicians today refuse to acknowledge God unless it benefits them politically, and even then, it is nothing more than a mention. They have adopted ideas about themselves, God, our country, and we, the people that are not helpful. There are evil forces at work to destroy the identity of a man and woman, the cohesion of a family led by a husband and wife submitted to each other in love and to Christ, the benefit of a unified community grounded in faith, and the fabric of our nation, including the Constitution. Our country was not set up to succeed unless we as a people collectively submit to God and follow his good ways. Since we have not submitted to his ways collectively and have chosen people to lead us who are not submitted to his ways, we will pay the price. We have twisted reality in so many areas and done wrong while trusting those who told us it is right. And we will reap the consequences.

Many people are not prepared for what will happen either mentally or spiritually. I encourage you to begin to think about your life and what you stand for. Many people have adopted a perspective and accepted ideas that do not allow them to see reality and identify the root cause of an issue. We hear politicians say such flowery things and direct our attention to what they think are the sources of a problem, but inwardly they are evil, selfish, humanistic, demagogues who are hell bent on power, and who use hellish ideas to gain it. They have attacked truth, reason, law, and you and me. And they are about to pay the price.

If I were president right now, I would invoke the Insurrection Act, and I would direct the whole weight and force of the federal government at my disposal on individuals, cities, and states who brazenly break federal law. President Trump is very close to invoking the Insurrection Act, and I hope he does. He has my full support. He is not a likable character, but in this matter, he and those in his counsel are full of wisdom and have the law, reason, truth, the constitution, and generations of Americans, including me, on his side who will thank him in the future.

You don’t need to be afraid unless you are breaking federal law or are aiding, abetting, or harboring those who are breaking federal law.

What will happen and why?

Because numerous cowardly, evil, and spineless politicians (most of whom identify as Democrats) have chosen the side of darkness rather than truth and have not submitted to God’s designs for humanity, they have broken numerous federal laws by harboring illegal immigrants and criminals, which has resulted in countless deaths, assaults, trafficking, drug-related crimes, and other horrible outcomes. The president has instructed federal agents to begin removing these individuals from “Sanctuary cities” where they were welcomed with open arms by the leaders. Many governors and mayors have resisted this move by the president to uphold federal law and have encouraged their constituents to resist the federal agents. Because these spineless leaders have chosen lawlessness, they will have the full weight of the law brought down on them. The US military, including ICE, National Guard, and various branches of the armed forces, will be “Coming Soon to a City Near You”. They will remove illegal immigrants, stop trafficking, crime, murder, and various associated crimes, break up gangs, and arrest instigators and leaders who have broken the law.

Trump is not Hitler, and neither am I. This is a term used by people who lack discernment and don’t know what is going on. This is, at the root, a spiritual battle, and Trump is on the right side.

Trump is not a dictator. I would invoke the Insurrection Act in this circumstance because I care about truth, my fellow American and our country, and I am not a dictator. The good that will come from invoking the act will be far better in the long run than not invoking the Insurrection Act.

Trump is not an angry madman. I certainly am not, and I would invoke the Insurrection Act. Trump loves this country and has gone through hell to attempt to correct the course of our rapidly sinking ship, and I am grateful.

Trump does not want to hurt any American, but he does want to bring to justice those who are destroying the nation by lying, cheating, breaking the law, manipulating people, and gaining illegitimate power. And I support him in this matter.

There are already riots, and there will be more if the Insurrection Act is invoked. The last time this act was invoked was by Bush Sr. in 1992 during the LA riots surrounding Rodney King.

There is already violence in the streets, and there will be more.

There have been deaths, and there will be more.

There have been attempts to paint Trump as the enemy full of darkness, when in fact, the leaders who will be brought down are the enemies and are full of darkness. And darkness never wins.

Let's be honest, life down here on the bottom of society isn’t going well for us. Well, for me and my family, it is, but we have learned the secret of contentment - Trust in Jesus. Perhaps the reason it is not going well for you is that you don’t know Jesus, have experienced horrible things by those who claimed to trust Jesus but were full of wickedness, and because you have turned to liars, idolaters, and your own desires to make your life better. That never works. The government is not your salvation. Politicians don’t know what to do with your trust. If your life is turned upside down with the invocation of the Insurrection Actt you are either an illegal immigrant, harboring illegal immigrants, aiding and abetting criminals, or are placing your trust in people who are doing these things while telling you to trust them, vote for them, and embrace the “other party” as your enemy and your life will get better. Hogwash. If you are not doing these things, you have nothing to fear.

If you find yourself thinking Trump is a nazi, it's time to consider how you landed on the wrong side of history.

If you think Trump hates America, ask yourself where you went wrong.

If you think aiding and abetting criminals is good for you or our country, you are a fool.

If you think voting for people who aid and abet criminals is good for you or our country, you are a special kind of fool.

If you think Trump is a dictator, you expose your ignorance and really know next to nothing about dictators.

If you have trusted politicians to make your life better, ask how they stack up to Jesus?

If you find yourself trusting countless snakes who have taken up residency in the Democratic party, perhaps it is time to identify where your judgment went wrong?

If you support the individuals and evil political machinery that is about to be crushed, it is time to acknowledge your ignorance and take the first humbling step on the path of truth by admitting you were wrong and attempting to discover where you went wrong.

If you are troubled by these words and the inevitable events on the horizon, consider turning to Christ, who is the only source of genuine peace in this world. There is nothing in life that needs to be feared except not following our creator and his good paths. Jesus came to our hellhole and offered us the only way out. One day, all the systems of this world will crash and burn, and the only thing that will survive is that which has been built on Christ. To those whose hearts have been given to Christ, this world is a perfectly safe place to be, and he even adds the bonus that death is not something we need to fear or experience. Chew on that while planning your funeral!

In light of what is likely to ensue, I encourage you to begin reconsidering your choices in life that led you to this point, and your path in life, and what direction you are headed. The events to come are not the end of the world, but rather the discipline of those who have chosen the wrong path. Don’t choose the wrong path. I have been in a hellhole and lived to tell about it. It took me too many years to understand the goodness, kindness, gentleness, and unrivalled strength of Christ, who takes broken, clueless, and willing followers out of their hellhole and makes them more than conquerors.

Bright days are ahead, and America, our cities, families and lives will be much better when strongholds of evil are rooted out and destroyed. But politicians can never save our soul. Only Christ can do that. Trump is on the side of good and truth in this matter. So am I.

And if you find your world turned upside down as you attempt to make sense of things that will likely happen, consider the words of Scripture to those who trust Jesus and are orienting their life around him,

“Come to me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”

“Follow my path and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble, and you will find rest for your soul.”

“In the world you will have tribulation but be encouraged because you are with me, and I have overcome the world.”

“Don’t be anxious for anything, talk to God about it, and his peace that surpasses understanding will guard you heart and mind in Christ”

“Trust in the Lord will all your heart and don’t rely on your own understanding. In all your ways look to him for direction, and he will direct your path.”

“The thief (enemy of our soul) comes to steal, kill, and destroy; but I have come to give you life, that is best described as ‘abundant life’”

There is some darkness on the horizon, but good will prevail and lead to brighter days, especially to those who orient their heart and life around Christ.
